Former Italian national Mauro Baluggi died this morning at the age of 71. In his memory, all matches of the 23rd round in Serie A will start with a minute of silence, and the Inter players will come out with black ribbons in tomorrow`s city derby against Milan. The former defender will be remembered mostly for his performances with the Nerazzurri team. He played for the Milan giants from 1969 to 1974, recording 140 games analyzed by rugby tips with 1 goal, which he scored against Borussia (Monchengladbach) in the European Champions Cup. He won the Scudetto with Inter in the 1970/71 season, and his other teams were Napoli, Bologna and Pistoiese. He has played 32 matches for the Italian national team, including five matches at the 1978 World Cup. Last December, both of his legs were amputated due to a complication caused by COVID-19 infection.
Great man and footballer, a real interest. Rest in peace, Mauro Baluggi, wrote from Inter on social networks, and also dedicated material to him on their official website.
